Before founding the practice, Craig worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Brisbane which gave him exposure to a wide variety of strategic business and taxation issues.
At the completion of his Professional Year with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, he was one of four people short listed for the Institute’s prestigious Professional Year Medal.
Since moving to Noosa in 1999, Craig has developed detailed knowledge of the local business environment. He has been a key partner for his business clients by assisting them with building better businesses. He also services a portfolio of SMSF clients to ensure their tax, compliance and estate planning affairs are in order.
Kesh is a Noosa local since 1986 and uses his local knowledge to assist clients with their business and taxation needs. He has extensive experience in the areas of business advisory, self-managed superannuation and taxation. Kesh enjoys building long term working relationships with his clients and maintains that the role of the accountant is to maximise client wealth through good decision making and tax effective structuring. He prides himself on achieving the best results for his clients and is always looking to go the extra mile.
Ben joined Otto & Partners in 2013 after spending the first 4 years of his accountancy career with a mid-tier firm in Brisbane. Now with over 10 years of experience and having enjoyed exposure to many industries from construction, to manufacturing, motor dealers, restaurants, retailing and freight, Ben enjoys working alongside family businesses to ensure they are correctly structured for asset protection, commercial operations and tax minimisation. Having completed a dual degree in accountancy and financial planning, Ben is also well placed to discuss your SMSF as he has a sound understanding of superannuation principles and the tax benefits of utilising superannuation as part of your overall wealth generation.
Rachael has worked in manufacturing, energy and the financial services industries having commenced her career as a project engineer and production manager. Rachael has also had experience in business improvement and business analysis roles. After starting a family, Rachael completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Certificate of Accounting. Rachael joined our team in February 2010.
Peter has developed expertise in small business advisory services and taxation advice, including business structuring, tax planning and capital gains tax advice. Peter has more than 20 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of privately owned businesses. Peter joined the team at Otto & Partners in 2007.
Rebecca joined Otto & Partners in 2017 after relocating to the Sunshine Coast from Central Queensland. Prior to commencing with us, Rebecca spent the first 3 years of her career working in a small accountancy firm where she worked with mostly small agriculture business clients. Now a qualified Chartered Accountant, Rebecca has a broad range of technical tax knowledge with a keen attention to detail. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her clients to best understand their needs and goals, providing simple advice resulting in positive business and tax outcomes. Rebecca has worked across a wide range of industries including agriculture, construction, fashion, retail, hospitality and professional services, as well as high net wealth individuals and property investors.
Prior to launching a “sea-change” career in financial services, Jason worked in the IT and Creative Arts industries. An exhausting schedule of sponsored art exhibitions in inner city galleries, nationwide music tours and providing technical support for global IT companies had Jason pining for a quieter life on the Sunshine Coast. After arriving in Coolum Beach in 2005, Jason both began a family & completed a Bachelor of Business in Accounting after which he studied further to become a Certified Practising Accountant. Jason joined our team in 2011 and has since gained valuable experience with a range of Noosa small business’s. In addition to his experienced financial advice, Jason hopes his diverse career background helps provide a “big picture viewpoint” for his clients.
Prior to commencing with us in January 2017, Kylie worked in an accountancy firm in Tamworth for 6 years where she gained experience with small to medium sized businesses.
Prior to commencing with us , Karen has worked in accountancy firms in the local area for 27 years, where she has gained experience with small to medium sized businesses. Karen joined our team in September 2019.
Rebecca worked with a law firm before joining our team in June 2008. Since that time she has specialised in preparing individual tax returns and maximising the deductions and tax offsets that may be claimed by our clients.
Areti worked for a Cairns based Chartered Accounting firm for six years. After a break to raise her young family, she commenced work with Otto & Partners in August 2010.
Ingrid joined Otto & Partners in 2021 having gained over seven years experience providing taxation and business advisory services in public practice accounting firms on the Sunshine Coast. She thoroughly appreciates the value of sound accounting and financial practices having experienced its value during her career as an accountant, certified bookkeeper and small business owner. Ingrid enjoys building beneficial relations with clients to help support their financial goals and optimise business success.
Catherine joined Otto & Partners in April 2007. Catherine has worked for many years in accountancy and managing administration for businesses.
Since joining Otto & Partners, Catherine specialises in administering all areas of self-managed super funds with a particular focus on managing the annual tax and statutory requirements of these funds.
Jade finished school in 2006 and started studying accounting at The University of the Sunshine Coast in 2007. Jade worked in a bookkeeping business for a short period while she was studying until she joined Otto & Partners in May 2007. Jade has been administering self-managed superannuation funds since commencing work with Otto and Partners and thoroughly enjoys working in the self-managed superannuation fund field.
Jacquie has over 15 years’ experience working in chartered accounting firms. Jacquie currently specialises in administering self-managed superannuation funds.
Before joining Otto & Partners Kirsty worked for a varied number of companies in Brisbane including Ernst & Young, Ergon Energy, The Brisbane Airport Corporation, The National Electrical and Communications Association and the Taxation Institute.
Ashlea started with Otto & Partners in November 2010 and has several years administration experience as well as experience in early childhood, hospitality and running her own business. Her role with us began as a receptionist, greeting our clients and working closely with our accountants attending to day to day client’s needs. Ashlea now personally assists the Directors and Seniors in the office with tasks as well as any office administration duties.
Prior to commencing with Otto & Partners in March 2021, Robyn has over 20 years of experience in reception, accounts and administration throughout a wide variety of roles with her most recent being with a Sunshine Coast accounting firm.
